Rachel welcomed her son in 2018 and daughter in 2020, however has remained incredibly private about them and has never shared their names.
It wasn't until this past year that Rachel had revealed her latest addition was a little girl.
The actress briefly mentioned her daughter while promoting Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret during an interview with Access Hollywood.
'I'm excited for my own little girl to see it one day,' she explained.
She previously gushed about motherhood during a 2018 interview with The Sunday Times.
'It's the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down. People] say your life is not your own anymore, but I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person.'
Rachel and writer Jamie were first linked romantically back in April 2016, but have kept their relationship extremely private ever since.
They have yet to make their red carpet debut as a couple and rarely appear out in public together.
Jamie is an American screenwriter best known for his 2006 film We Are Marshall as well as the 2010 film Dear John starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried.
The actress had spoken about her wanting children in her future, telling InStyle in 2010: 'Part of me is very attached to the idea of having children,' adding: 'It'll depend on if I find the person I want to do that with.'
Meanwhile, Rachel split with actor Michael Sheen in 2013 after two years together as a couple.
She was previously in a relationship with her co-star from The Notebook, Ryan Gosling.
