Nina Brohus Agdal (born 26 March 1992) is a Danish model known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and, alongside Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge, appeared on the 50th anniversary cover in 2014.[3]
Early life
Agdal was born 26 March 1992 in Denmark,[1] where she grew up in the town of Hillerød.[4]
Career
Agdal was discovered while on a street in her home town. Having no modeling experience, she entered the Elite Model Look competition. She did not win, but did then sign with Elite Models Copenhagen and continued school until she was 18. After graduation, she moved to the United States, after which her modeling career blossomed.[5][6] She has modeled for Billabong, Victoria's Secret, Adore Me, Bebe Stores and Calzedonia.[7][8] She has also been in fashion editorials for Vogue Mexico, Elle, Cosmopolitan and CR fashion book by Carine Roitfeld.[9] In 2012, she made her first appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and was subsequently named the issue's "Rookie of the Year". She also appeared on the cover of Maxim magazine for its March issue in 2017.[10][11] In 2014, she appeared on the 50th anniversary cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue with Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge,[12] which she regards as the "highlight" of her modeling career.[5]
Agdal appeared in a 2013 Super Bowl television commercial for Carl's Jr./Hardee's.[10] In August 2016 she signed with IMG Models.

NINA aka Nina Boldt is a German singer songwriter living in the UK. Her musical style is electronic music inspired by the 80s. She’s an inescapable singer of Synthwave and Synthpop, which earned her the nickname of ‘Queen of Synthwave’.The singer was born in Berlin and started singing at the age of 6 years old and then followed a classical training as a teenager. Her greatest artistic inspiration is the New Wave legends, Depeche Mode. In 2011 the English label « Aztec Records » discovered NINA and released her first EP, but it was in 2013 with « We Are The Wild Ones » that NINA reached the masses, when US TV channel SyFy used her music for TV series « Being Human » (S4). In 2014 her EP « My Mistake » was released, and her music was used by HUGO BOSS, ASOS, Adidas, Net-a-Porter but also Mercedes Benz, for tv ads and compilations. In 2016, Synthwave producers Richard X, Oscillian and Sunglasses Kid produced her « Beyond Memory » EP, with remixes of Nilesh Liam Keegan (Ministry of Sound) and Oscillian. It was a hit on iTunes as soon as it was released, and it was also played on « BBC Introducing » in London and premiered by « Idolator ». In 2017 « One Of Us » was released as a collaboration with Metropolis Studios, which allowed her to appear in several Synthwave festivals during the year and even in July of this year at « Retro Future Fest 2 « . Since 2014, NINA has been performing LIVE around the UK, but also in Canada and the US with ERASURE, as well as at the « CBGB’s Festival » and the « Pyramid Club » in New York. NINA also made an appearance on the US TV channel « NBC6 » to perform « My Mistake » live. NINA’s debut album ‘Sleepwalking’ will be out in March 2018 worldwide.

Her 2018 debur album ‘Sleepwalking’ features artist LAU (Laura Fares) and was produced by Oscillian, Richard X, The New Division and Sunglasses Kid. Praised by critics and embraced significantly by the burgeoning ‘Synthwave’ and ‘Retrowave’ scenes, Nina earned the affectionate nickname “The Queen of Synthwave”.
Her hit single ‘My Mistake’ was featured by Hugo Boss, Adidas and Mercedes Benz, gaining her a spot in the Shazam Charts at #6.
Performing live and producing records with a variety of artists, Nina has often been accompanied by regular collaborator LAU. The two artists have toured together worldwide and shared the stage with Erasure, Robert Parker, Timecop1983, Dana Jean Phoenix and more.
NINA’s second album ‘Synthian’ (feat. LAU) is scheduled for release in June 2020 via Aztec Records. It explores the depths of love, technology, desire, humanity and the soul.
